In Loving Memory of Jim
A Tribute to James "Jim" Lancaster
James Lawson Lancaster passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Born December 21, 1946, Jim grew up in Leiters Ford, Indiana, and later in life his career brought him and his family out to California. James’ retirement allowed him to enjoy his 10 acre almond ranch in Arbuckle, California where he has resided for the past 24 years. Jim loved to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing and gardening.
James is survived by son Shane Lancaster and preceded in death by son Troy Lancaster. He enjoyed time with his grandkids Josh and Chandler, and many great-grandkids. James recently celebrated 18 years of sobriety, and dedicated many years helping others on their sobriety journey.
A celebration of life will be announced soon.
